As part of a special temporary exhibition dedicated to objects discovered by French archaeological missions working in Egypt, the research carried out by our team at the archaeological site of Deir el-Medina was presented along with a selection of key artefacts from the Egyptian Museum collection. This exhibition, entitled French Archaeology in Egypt. Research, Cooperation, Innovation, was jointly organized by the Ministry of Antiquities, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and the French Institute of Oriental Archaeology (IFAO), and was held at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo from 18 December 2019 to 18 February 2020 as one of the initiatives for the 2019 Egyptian‑French year of culture.
